I didn't start with a silver spoon or any form of success
I was born on the wrong sides of the tracks in a troubled home. I was a rebellious teen who wanted autonomy, and got in all kinds of trouble because there wasn’t someone there to show me the right way to achieve it.
I eventually discovered that business ownership could give me the freedom I wanted, but not before I lost it all...
I had several companies I tried juggling at once, doing all of the things I thought business owners should do. I slept at my desk, read books, went to seminars, and hired expensive “experts” but none of it worked… and in my 30s I ended up homeless on the streets of Southern California wondering “how the hell did this happen?”
It took a while, but I realized everything I was trying to do to 'fix' my failing businesses was like re-arranging the chairs on the deck of the Titanic...
So I restarted my career and spent 6 years asking real, successful business owners what they would do in my shoes
It took a while, but I got myself out of homelessness and working for Tony Robbins as a top speaker and salesman.
During my time with Tony, I asked any successful business owner I could find what they would do if they were in my shoes and took seven notebooks worth of notes on how I could have properly managed, scaled, and exited my companies.
I got into business again with new knowledge, a clear end-game, and reached my Custom-Tailored Exit... selling 26 companies to private equity
I wasn’t a genius or got lucky with the market. I knew what I wanted my life to look like, and reverse-engineered the requirements of how much, what for, by when, and what now to reach my perfectly Custom-Tailored Exit, right on time.
Once I got clear on my own end game, I could use the seven notebooks full of systems to find out which ones would actually help me scale and sell my companies.
Now I teach business owners across the world how to do the same, not from theory, but experience
I took the systems, strategies, and processes that I used to reach my Custom-Tailored Exit and packaged them into the Built To Exit (B2X) System.
We’ve since helped dozens of business owners successfully reach their Custom-Tailored Exit and lead a life on their own terms.
